A reputed University in the UAE invites applicants for the position of Assistant / Associate / Full Professor in Economics.

Responsibilities:

- Facilitate student learning, provide effective instruction, and evaluate student performance.

- Develop course curriculum, handouts, lectures, labs, and presentations.

- Propose and implement policies to enhance academic development and research.

- Collaborate with faculty and administrators on curriculum and policy development.

- Supervise and evaluate students in internships, observations, and field experiences.

- Assign grades, maintain records, and submit them by deadlines.

- Ensure compliance with audit, quality assurance, and risk management procedures.

- Keep a flexible schedule for student access and coordinate with the Dean on research projects.

- Assist students with research and internships, ensuring quality and ethics.

- Stay current in the academic discipline and participate in professional development.

Qualifications Required:

- PhD in Economics, or a relevant field from an accredited institution.

Teaching Experience:

- Experience in teaching, curriculum development, and program assessment at the university level.

- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of teaching experience at the university level.

- Strong commitment to academic excellence, student success, and innovation in teaching and learning.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.

- Familiarity with technological and pedagogical advances promoting student learning.
