One of the reputed Universities in the UAE invites applicants for the position of Assistant / Associate Professor in English.

Responsibilities:

- Teach undergraduate courses in English, Rhetoric and Composition.

- Develop and update curriculum and course materials.

- Demonstrate teaching effectiveness and excellence.

- Engage in professional scholarship.

- Assist in curriculum development and other departmental, school, and community service activities.

- Work collaboratively as part of a team.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Ph.D. in English, Rhetoric and Composition, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of teaching experience at a reputed university.

- Excellent English written and oral communication skills.

- Evidence of successful teaching experience or significant potential and promise of teaching effectiveness at the undergraduate level.

- Ability to meet standards for professional scholarship.
