A reputed University in the UAE invites applicants for the position of Assistant / Associate Professor in Construction Management in the Architectural Engineering Department.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and deliver high-quality course materials in Construction Management for undergraduate and graduate students.

- Supervise student research projects and theses, providing guidance and mentorship.

- Build and maintain an independent research program with a strong focus on advanced topics in construction management.

- Contribute to the development of the department's curriculum and academic programs.

- Engage in service activities within the university and the broader academic community.

- Collaborate with Centers of Excellence and other research initiatives within the university.

- Utilize advanced laboratory facilities and seek opportunities for internal and external research funding.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Ph.D. in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline from an internationally recognized university.

- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of teaching experience in academic environments.

- Strong commitment to teaching excellence and student advising.

Research Areas:

- Construction Management/Construction Project Management

- Information and Communication Technologies (i.e., BIM, Digital Twins, VR)

- Advanced Digital Engineering

- Building Construction

- Other sub-areas of expertise within these general areas will also be considered.
