A reputed University in the UAE is seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual for the position of Assistant / Associate Professor in Media and Communication.

Responsibilities:

- Teach courses in Media and Communication at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

- Develop and update curriculum in alignment with current industry standards and technological advancements.

- Conduct and publish high-quality research in the field of Media and Communication.

- Mentor and supervise students, providing guidance on academic and career development.

- Engage in service activities within the department, university, and the broader community.

- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.

Qualifications Required:

- Ph.D. in Media and Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.

- Proven track record of research and publications in the field of media and communication.

Experience:

- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of teaching experience in the relevant field at the university level.

- Proficiency in relevant media production tools and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro).

Other Skills:

- Strong knowledge of media and communication theories, practices, and technologies.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds.
