One of the reputed University in Oman invites applicants for the position of Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and deliver high-quality course materials for undergraduate and possibly graduate courses in Mechanical Engineering.

- Conduct laboratory experiments and supervise student projects.

- Engage in curriculum development, ensuring alignment with industry standards and accreditation requirements.

- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students, supporting their academic and career development.

- Contribute to institutional partnerships, linkages, and quality management initiatives.

- Organize conferences, seminars, workshops, and exhibitions to enhance academic and professional development -within the department.

Qualifications Required:

- PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field from an accredited institution.

Teaching Experience:

- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of teaching experience in Mechanical Engineering at a reputable university.

- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver high-quality course materials and conduct laboratory experiments.

- Strong record of 5 to 10 research publications in peer-reviewed journals.

- Experience in curriculum development, accreditation processes, and strategic planning.
