One of the reputed University in Oman invites applicants for the position of Assistant Professor in Manufacturing (Mechanical Engineering).

Responsibilities:

- Delivering high-quality instruction in undergraduate and/or graduate courses related to Manufacturing Engineering, such as Manufacturing Technology, Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, and Environmental considerations.

- Conducting applied and theoretical research relevant to Manufacturing Engineering, with a focus on publications in -reputable academic journals.

- Mentoring and advising students on academic and career development, particularly in the field of Mechanical Engineering.

- Participating actively in departmental and university service activities, including curriculum development, academic advising, and committee work.

- Pursuing interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research collaborations within and outside the department.

Qualifications Required:

- Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field.

Teaching Experience:

- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of teaching experience in higher educational institution.

- Experience and knowledge of delivering Manufacturing Engineering applications (Manufacturing Technology, Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, and Environment).

- A strong record of publications in relevant fields.

- Experience in conducting applied and theoretical research relevant to Manufacturing processes and technologies.

- Proven ability to engage in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research initiatives.
