A reputed University in Malaysia invites applicants for the position of Senior Lecturer in Psychiatry.

Responsibilities:

- Guide and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate learners in their academic and professional development.

- Participate in student assessment activities.

- Conduct discipline-specific research and seek intra- and extra-mural funding opportunities through grants and research proposals.

- Serve as an advisor or supervisor for learners’ research projects, dissertations, or other scholarly activities.

- Work with colleagues on educational quality improvement projects and accreditation processes.

- Engage in activities that contribute to the department, institution, and the broader community.

Qualifications Required:

- MBBS, MD, or equivalent medical degree listed in the Malaysian Medical Council.

- Postgraduate qualification in Psychiatry or equivalent listed in the Malaysian Medical Council.

Teaching Experience:

- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of teaching experience in Psychiatry or relevant field.

- Strong research background with a track record of scholarly contributions in the field of specialization.

- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advances in the field of specialization.
