| Job Description | One of the reputed University in Qatar invites applicants for the position of Assistant Professor in Chemistry. Responsibilities: Teaching & Learning - Demonstrate a commitment to the university's mandate of excellence in applied and experiential teaching and learning pedagogies. - Develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum with a focus on student-centered strategies and appropriate learning supports. - Design and deliver teaching materials across various courses to facilitate active student participation. - Create and evaluate authentic assessment tools to measure mastery of course learning outcomes and promote lifelong learning. - Utilize a variety of educational technology and learning platforms to enhance the learning environment. - Manage resources of the learning environment and course portfolio documents required for program review and accreditation processes. Scholarship & Research - Contribute to the advancement of knowledge through applied research, publications, knowledge transfer, or professional practice on an international scale. - Establish relevant professional memberships or affiliations with industry and academic bodies to expand the university's research network. - Generate research projects with university, national, and international impact that align with the university's applied research mission and Qatar's 2030 National Vision. - Maintain professional recognition and standing amongst peers. |
| Job Profile | Education & Experience Requirements: - PhD degree in Chemistry or a related applied field from a recognized university in North America, Western Europe, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, or New Zealand. - Minimum of three (3) years of full-time teaching experience in higher education institutions.
