One of the reputed University in Oman invites applicants for the position of Assistant Professor in Chemical Engineering.

Responsibilities:

- Stay updated on recent developments in the academic field to enhance teaching and research activities.

- Implement security and safety requirements to ensure a safe working environment.

- Teach courses within the field of specialization.

- Provide academic guidance and support to students.

- Participate in department and college meetings, as well as internal and external committees.

- Contribute to scientific research, provide consultations, and attend conferences and seminars.

- Contribute to quality assurance activities in academic aspects.

- Engage in community service through seminars, workshops, and research related to community issues.

- Perform any other tasks assigned within the scope of work.

Requirements:

- Doctorate degree in Chemical Engineering with specialization in areas such as Corrosion Engineering, CCU, Fuel Cells Technologies, Green Hydrogen Production, Chemical Process Optimization.

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching in engineering programs.

- Good conduct and behavior.

- Preference given to candidates with experience in university teaching and scientific research.
