One of the reputed University in Malaysia invites applicants for the position of Assistant Professor in Computer Science.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop relevant materials for the Computer Science program in various formats.

- Contribute to curriculum content, design, and delivery, ensuring alignment with international standards and University guidelines.

- Review teaching methodologies by gathering and analyzing feedback from students and peers.

- Assist in accreditation processes conducted by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and other relevant bodies.

- Conduct teaching and assessment duties within academic programs.

- Support colleagues across University Schools in course delivery and related activities.

- Provide well-documented and timely feedback, encompassing both formative and summative assessments.

- Enhance subject expertise in line with the latest research developments and integrate these advancements into teaching materials and methods.

- Collaborate with colleagues and external networks for knowledge exchange and potential future collaborations.

Education & Qualifications:

Essential:

- Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related disciplines.

Desirable:

- PhD in Computer Science or related disciplines.

- Industry experience in related fields.

- Teaching qualifications such as FHEA or PGCertTL.

Teaching Experience

- At least 3 years of experience in tutoring, teaching, or training.

- Clear communicator with strong presentation skills and the ability to explain concepts effectively.

- Preference will be given to Malaysian citizens or local candidates.
