One of the reputed University in Bahrain invites applicants for the faculty position in Finance.

Responsibilities:

- Teach up to five courses per semester, depending on rank.

- Prepare course syllabi, plan lessons, and create assignments.

- Assess student progress through grading assignments, papers, exams, and other work.

- Provide academic advising to students regarding course selection and career goals.

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop or modify curriculum for degree or certificate programs.

- Stay informed about changes and innovations in the field of Finance.

- Invigilate examinations and attend faculty meetings.

- Conduct general administrative tasks related to teaching and quality assurance.

- Write research proposals, papers, and other publications.

- Supervise student projects and theses.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

- A minimum of a Master's Degree in a related fields, from a recognized institution.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching Business programs at the higher education level.

- Preference will be given to candidates with degrees from the United States and to those with teaching experience at a higher education level in the United States.

Skills and Competencies:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong relationship-building skills with peers, leadership, and external constituents.

- Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS).

- Leadership qualities aligned with university core values of integrity, engagement, excellence, and desire to make a difference.
