One of the reputed University in Oman invites applicants for the position of Assistant/ Associate/ Full Professor in mathematics.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct engaging lectures, labs, and seminars in Mathematics for undergraduate and graduate students.

- Develop and update course materials to enhance student learning.

- Pursue original research in the field of Mathematics.

- Involve students in research projects.

- Contribute to the development and improvement of Mathematics curriculum.

- Provide guidance and support to students in their academic journey.

- Stay informed about advancements in Mathematics through ongoing professional development.

- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the academic community.

- Participate in departmental activities and university service.

Requirements:

- PhD in the field of specialization from a recognized university.

- 3 to 15 years teaching experience in a recognized university or a postgraduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field.

- 5 to 10 research publications in peer reviewed journals.

- Has a strong and broad experience in curriculum development, accreditation process, institutional partnership/linkages, academic advising, strategic and operational planning, quality management and organization of conferences, seminars, workshops and exhibitions.

- Has a potential to establish an active research program involving undergraduate and Master’s level students,

- Maintain a dynamic extramurally funded research program in an area of the candidate’s expertise.

- Knowledge of cotemporary teaching practices and E-learning.
