Job Profile

Qualification Required:

Ph.D. in Electrical/Electronics/Communication Engg, or a related field, committed to research and teaching.

Experience Required:

3 to 8 years of teaching experience

Applicants with a focus on interdisciplinary research, including artificial intelligence, climate, environment, energy and smart health, are particularly welcomed.  Examples of such areas, include, but are not limited to:

  • Smart grid technologies, energy storage systems, high efficiency alternative and renewable energy technologies, to assure secure access to energy resources, while addressing climate change concerns.
  • Mobile and personalized biomedical technologies, signal processing algorithms and sensors that advance a holistic paradigm of human wellness.
  • Communication and computing technologies including high-speed communication systems, Information coding and cryptography.
  • Connected and automated mobility systems and assistive technologies to enhance safety, efficiency, and accessibility, in modern smart cities.
  • Next generation smart materials, devices and platforms including but not limited to, system and algorithm development, flexible and wearable electronics, emerging device platforms, and photonic based devices and circuits.
  • Machine learning, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity
  • Robotics and their applications in numerous fields including but not limited to underwater exploration, soft robotics, manufacturing, agriculture, health care among others.
