One of the reputed University in Oman invites applicants for the position of Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer/ Assistant Professor in Computing/ Information Technology Department.

Responsibilities:

- Teach Computing / Information Technology courses, including Python programming, AI, ML, Cloud Computing, etc.

- Supervise senior design projects and teach introductory-level courses.

- Participate in departmental, college, and university committees and activities.

- Mentor and advise students on academic and career development.

- Engage in research activities both inside and outside the department.

- Participate in outreach activities such as workshops, conferences, and seminars.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology.

- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience at higher education institutions.

- Proficiency in English is a must.

Requirements/Skills:

- Working knowledge of multimedia teaching tools.

- Excellent communication and pedagogical skills.

- Proficiency in Matlab, PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, and other related software tools.

- Experience in teaching online courses using Google Meet, MS Teams, or other platforms.
