One of the reputed University in Kuwait invites applicants for the position of Assistant Professor in Petroleum Engineering.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain curriculum descriptions and summaries.

- Create assessments to evaluate and enhance student performance.

- Identify necessary IT resources to support academic plans.

- Supervise student projects.

- Actively contribute to community service initiatives.

- Collaborate in designing, coordinating, and evaluating unit syllabi to meet accreditation requirements.

- Serve as an academic advisor to students and monitor their progress.

- Collaborate with university administration and unit coordinators to implement remediation programs for struggling students.

- Participate in laboratory activities as required.

- Undertake research activities leading to publications in international refereed journals and presentations at conferences and seminars.

- Develop joint research proposals with colleagues and external partners.

- Collaborate with professional associations and institutions to facilitate professional development.

Requirements:

- Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering or a relevant field.

- Up to 3 years of experience in university teaching, research, or professional industry.

- Publication record including up to 3 peer-reviewed international journals with impact factor.

- Industry exposure through research, consultancy, or professional activities.

- Ability to design, deliver, and evaluate instructional units.

- Experience supervising honors projects.

- Active involvement in professional associations.
