One of the reputed University in Qatar invites applicants for the position of Assistant/ Associate Professor in Transportation Engineering.

Responsibilities:

- Delivering high-quality teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Transportation Engineering.

- Developing and sustaining funded research programs and publishing in leading journals.

- Collaborating with industry partners on practical projects such as Traffic Impact studies, Traffic simulation modeling, and Traffic Safety studies.

- Contributing to the Qatar Transportation and Traffic Safety Center to support research and industry service initiatives.

Requirements:

- Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering from a prestigious university.

- Expertise in Transportation Engineering with a specialization in areas such as Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Traffic Operations, Traffic Safety Analysis, Traffic Simulation, and Transportation Planning.

- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

- Track record of scholarly activities in the field.

- Fluency in English is essential.

- Industrial experience will be viewed favorably.

- Experience in managing research projects and/or professional practices is advantageous.
